Parent/guardian-ledDecision support onlyFamily control

Effective date: 2026-07-07

Plain-English Summary

Hockey Anchor provides decision support for hockey families. It helps parents and guardians think through tradeoffs, unknowns, next questions, and practical options.

Hockey Anchor does not make the decision for the family. It does not guarantee an outcome. It is not a coach, agent, attorney, physician, therapist, school official, league official, financial advisor, or recruiting representative.

Who The Service Is For

Hockey Anchor is a parent/guardian decision-support platform.

It is not directed to children. Children do not create accounts. Parents or legal guardians submit information regarding their own player.

Service Scope

The Release 1 service is a Family Decision Review.

Families should expect:

  1. Parent/guardian-led sign-in and submission.
  2. Payment through Stripe.
  3. A paid-access entitlement tied to the review.
  4. A case submission path.
  5. A Decision Packet or equivalent decision-support output.
  6. Reasoning that separates known facts, assumptions, unknowns, tradeoffs, next questions, and confidence limits.
  7. A support path if payment, access, submission, deletion, refund, or trust issues arise.

Decision Responsibility

Hockey Anchor supports judgment. The family owns the decision.

Hockey Anchor can help identify:

  1. Tradeoffs.
  2. Risks.
  3. Unknowns.
  4. Next questions.
  5. Evidence gaps.
  6. Practical next steps.

Hockey Anchor does not decide what a player or family should do. Families remain responsible for confirming official rules, medical guidance, legal advice, school requirements, program expectations, eligibility rules, and personal circumstances.

What Hockey Anchor Does Not Provide

Hockey Anchor does not provide:

  1. Medical advice.
  2. Legal advice.
  3. Mental health advice.
  4. Financial advice.
  5. Academic, school, league, or eligibility rulings.
  6. Recruiting-agent or representation services.
  7. Coach, program, league, or school outreach on behalf of the family.
  8. Roster, playing-time, scholarship, admission, recruiting, development, or coach-response guarantees.

No Outcome Guarantees

Hockey Anchor does not guarantee:

  1. A roster spot.
  2. Playing time.
  3. Coach interest.
  4. Recruiting interest.
  5. Admission.
  6. Scholarship support.
  7. Development outcome.
  8. A family will be happy with the eventual real-world outcome.

The service is built to improve the family's decision process, not to control hockey outcomes.

Acceptable Use

Families agree to use Hockey Anchor in a way that is honest, lawful, and respectful of other people's privacy.

Families should:

  1. Submit information they believe is accurate.
  2. Submit only information they have the right to share.
  3. Summarize situations whenever possible.
  4. Avoid uploading private communications unless essential to understanding the decision.
  5. Avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.
  6. Keep magic links, session access, and account access private.

Families must not:

  1. Submit another family's private information without permission.
  2. Submit payment card numbers, passwords, magic links, session tokens, or credentials through support or intake.
  3. Try to access another household's cases, entitlements, or account data.
  4. Use Hockey Anchor to harass, threaten, misrepresent, or pressure another person.
  5. Use Hockey Anchor for automated scraping, abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.

Payment And Paid Access

Payments are processed through Stripe. Hockey Anchor does not store full payment card numbers or card security codes.

Paid access is based on server-verified payment and entitlement state. A client-side claim or screenshot is not enough to create access.

Stripe receipts are the Release 1 payment receipt source. Hockey Anchor may add founder confirmation emails later, but they are not required for Release 1.

Refunds

Refunds follow Refunds.

In summary:

  1. Full refund before review begins.
  2. Full refund for duplicate payment.
  3. Full refund for a Hockey Anchor technical failure preventing the purchased service.
  4. After meaningful review begins, refunds are at founder discretion.
  5. After Decision Packet delivery, there is generally no refund unless Hockey Anchor failed to deliver the purchased service.

Support

Support follows Support.

Payment, access, security, and privacy issues are prioritized for same-day or next-business-day response. General support target is within 2 business days. Refund and deletion requests are acknowledged within 2 business days.

Founder-Operated Capacity

Release 1 is founder-operated or founder-supervised.

Hockey Anchor will only accept the number of active paid families the founder can personally support to the expected quality standard. If quality, support, payment, access, security, or founder capacity is degraded, Hockey Anchor may pause or limit paid access.

Privacy, Youth Data, Retention, And Deletion

Privacy is governed by Privacy.

Youth/player information is governed by Youth Data.

Retention is governed by Data Retention.

Deletion requests are governed by Account Deletion.

AI And Software-Assisted Workflows

Hockey Anchor may use software and AI-assisted workflows to support analysis, structure, and drafting.

AI is not the authority. Hockey Anchor remains decision support. The family owns the decision.

See AI Disclosure.

Security

Hockey Anchor only claims security controls that are actually implemented and verified. See Security.

Families should not send secrets, payment card numbers, magic links, session cookies, or credentials through support.

Changes To The Service

Hockey Anchor may update service scope, trust pages, support paths, and operational rules as the product matures. Material changes should be reflected in the Trust Center and linked policies.
